個展『KYOTO』が8月1日(土)から10月31日(土)まで、ACE HOTEL KYOTOにて開催。プリント作品の展示にくわえ、本展を機に制作した作品集「KYOTO」、Tシャツ、トートバッグ、キャップなどがならびます。

Noritakeが京都に滞在し、制作活動を行う中で、京都に根付く伝統や、この街で出会った人々、もの、風景との対話から生まれたイラストレーションを展示します。京都という文化都市を歩き、その土地ならではの景色や営み、人との出会いを重ねながら、一つひとつの交流・体験が作品として形を成していきました。点のような出会いがつながり、一つの面として立ち現れる。Noritakeが京都で紡いだ時間と視点を映し出す展示となります。

During an extended stay in Kyoto, Noritake created a body of illustrations inspired by the city's enduring traditions and by encounters with its people, objects, and landscapes.
Walking through Kyoto as a city shaped by centuries of culture, each place visited, conversation shared, and experience accumulated gradually took form as a drawing. Individual encounters--like scattered points--became connected, eventually forming a larger picture.
This exhibition presents the time Noritake spent in Kyoto and the unique perspective that emerged through those experiences.
